How was My First Paella born?
My First Paella was born from the idea of sharing what Valencians usually do in our rest days and holidays, which is eating a paella with family or friends. A well-established tradition in the Valencian Community. We found that we had two main assets: the first our passion for gastronomy, and the second one having a place in the wonderful neighborhood of Ruzafa. My First Paella is an opportunity for all those who travel and they love to know local uses, you will discover the neighborhood life and you will also learn the keys to make a good paella.
What will we do?
We will buy in the market the ingredients of your paella, where you will enjoy the market stall, you will see the bustle of neighbors buying in their market and you will familiarize with the products to use in the paella. We will explain you the history of the district while we are walking to the workshop local and the transformation that has supposed the gentrification for a decade in the district.Once we arrive at the school, we will welcome you with a delicious potato omelette that we will accompany with sangria and soft drinks. It’s time to start cooking. We will put on our aprons and get to work. We will have a glass of Valencian cava while the rice is cooking and we will sit down to eat.
