Very hospitable! Very friendly! Every detail taken care of. The cooking experience was so much fun and the shopping in the market was a special experience. Definitely recommend, I would do it again. Thank you
This was one of the nicest experiences ever. We met amazing people from all over the world and it was such fun to cook and eat together. The paella and sangria was excellent! Thank you all for this great day
What an amazing experience!! Mary our guide is spectacular!!! First a super fun market experience. Then we learn how to make sangria and 3 kinds of paella. The food and wines were wonderful and most importantly we made new friends from around the world. If you are in Valencia this is a must stop!!💕
What a wonderful experience. Our chef was so patient and talented Abundance of skills and knowledge on both Paella cooking and local traditions. Relaxing atmosphere with some good old banter mixed in. The final product was absolutely delicious eat. Definitely worth trying
My friend and I were vacationing in Valencia and on an impulse signed up for this class. It was one of the best times of our trip! Ramon and Mari were great hosts.. fun, knowledgeable and they made you feel like everyone was part of a little family for the day. Highly recommend to anyone !
We had a great experience here! The teachers were so friendly and engaging. I really think it was a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to others
It was a really interesting activity. Mary and Ramon the chef were really sweet. First we went to the market to buy some ingredients then we headed to the kitchen were we started cooking the Paella. We had a blast totally recommend it
Fantastic workshop. José and Ramon were so wonderful! The whole experience could not have been better and we highly recommend it. Shopping at the market, sangria and tapas (yum!), learning about paella and Valencia ... it was a very fun few hours and one of our favorite things in our trip to Spain (and there were many fabulous things). Truly great experience.
Our family group of four all enjoyed this day so much. Learned a lot, and had more than enough to both eat and drink. Ramon had to make three different paella’s and did it so perfect, cannot recommend enough!!
We booked this experience with two families, and 5 children between us. Ramon and Mary did an amazing job of including the children in the experience, (they were able to help with everything). I felt it was good value, sangria and nibbles included, plus a delicious paella lunch with wine is the end result. If you are looking for a fun and relaxed way to learn all about Valencian Paella - this is the place to do it! I would highly recommended My First Paella. Thank you Ramon and Mary.
Fantastic cooking class. Ramon and Mary are excellent teachers in the cooking class. Food produced outstanding. Best meal in Valencia. Great for adults and children alike.
Took this class to find out more about authentic paella. So happy I did! I had heard that it originated here, and learned about the three distinct types, which require fresh ingredients. Our guide Mary showed and taught us about them at the market, and then we prepared two types in the kitchen with Raul. Experiencing this with others was truly delightful, and very worthwhile.
What a fantastic day! Our family group of four all enjoyed this day so much. Not only did we share the experience of shopping and cooking, we got to eat delicious Paella, share wine, tapas and Sangria with a small group of fellow travellers. Mary and Ramon were excellent hosts and teachers, providing much fun and enjoyment throughout the day. We learned a lot, ate a lot and laughed a lot. Perfect day.
This is one of the best values you could invest in for yourself. Maria is a fabulous intro host, ESPECIALLY if your only language is English. The market was a very authentic adventure, especially for a fresh seafood lover from Alaska. The paella cooking was really a fun learning experience. We had delicious cheese, ham & small pastries with the best sangria I've ever tasted. Good wine with the tasty meal, 2 different Valencian liqueurs & wonderful coffee. I wish I wasn't driving or I would've indulged much more. This is one of those meals that you remember as being one of your memorable moments in life. Plus all the other people were fun & enjoyable, up for a unique epicurean experience. Don't miss this.
This was one of the best experiences we had in Spain. Jose helped us select the appropriate ingredients and both he and Ramon helped us cook a delicious paella, and kept us full and happy with tapas, sangria, wine, and cazalla. All in all it was great fun and well worth it.
